Ben has spent nearly two decades in clean energy finance and operational leadership, with an ever-present focus on equity and access for low-income communities and working families. He was most recently President, Capital Markets & Strategy at PosiGen, which he joined in early 2019 after seven years at the Connecticut Green Bank and its spin-out national specialty financing company, Inclusive Prosperity Capital. At PosiGen, Ben drove key geographic expansion and platform growth initiatives, led all capital markets activities, and built a world-class team focused on executing on PosiGen's mission of Solar For All.

Previously, at the Green Bank, Ben designed and developed innovative clean energy financing solutions, including building the country’s leading Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program, structuring first-in-the-nation strategies to secure solar investment for non-investment grade properties, and arranging investment partnerships with not only traditional financial institutions but also emerging players in the space such as foundations and crowdsourcing platforms.

Ben holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Yale University, including from the School of the Environment and the School of Management.
